In authentic costume and accompanied by "Captain Bob," the blue and gold macaw, your professional storyteller and licensed Charleston tour guide brings to life the pirates, who visited these fair shores: Stede Bonnet, Blackbeard, Richard Worley, Charles Vane, and of course the ferocious female pirates, Mary Read and Anne Bonny.

Learn the tales of historic Charleston while you are led to the hangouts, "haunts," and final resting places of pirates, who made Charleston one of their ports-o-call during the "Golden Age of Piracy" (1690-1730).

This tour includes the Powder Magazine, one of Charleston's oldest buildings and a National Historic Landmark, at no additional charge to you.

Summary: Tour does not include hotel pick up. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 888-651-1125. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

~ Tours run rain or shine.
~ This is a walking tour, so please dress accordingly. During warm weather, you may want to bring water.
~ Children are more than welcome! Tickets for children under 4 are free, but they still need a ticket, so please make sure you include free tickets for the young ones on your order.
~ The health & well-being of Captain Bob are priorities, so please understand that his appearance cannot be guaranteed on every tour. Bob does not tour if the temperature is below 60. As with animals in other animal interaction programs (think SeaWorld and Discovery Cove), at times, Bob just does not want to participate. Please keep this in mind, as refunds are not offered if Captain Bob cannot participate in your scheduled tour.
