The campaign against Charleston in 1780 began the British major operations in the South and which eventually led them on the road to defeat at Yorktown. As British soldiers surrounded the Charleston peninsula, everyday life changed drastically for residents. Many houses in the city were burned as war came to the Low Country. This tour will bring some of those historical events to life.
