Unique paddling in the special Saltwater marshes surrounding the Lowcountry area of Charleston. Even at low tide this is a fun filled tidal creek lined with Spartina Cord Grass and Juncus Black Needle Rush. These saltwater marshes receive new ocean water with each new tide. When the tides rise, the saltwater marshes fill with water and cover up the muddy bottom. Nature's way of cleaning and feeding at the same time--as clean saltwater comes in, it provides a dinner table for the marsh wildlife to feed from the small organisms in left in the water or brought in with the new.
